Wander up to our walled garden to find the children’s play area, play board games in the Atlas Room or giant games on the lawn.
The Retreat is located within easy reach of countless tourist attractions for all the family, from famous stately homes to farm parks and of course, spectacular countryside.
During school holidays and on occasional other dates we also have some fabulous children's events.
Accommodation
We have a number of family rooms, which can comfortably sleep a family of up to 4 guests.
Cots are available at £20 per night. Some of our other rooms can also accommodate older children on an extra Z bed (£50 per night). All children (a person under 16 years of age) staying at the Hotel must be accompanied by an adult and must always be supervised by an adult.

Children’s Swimming Times
Children are welcome in our Outdoor Pool during the following times:
Monday to Friday: 9am - 10am and 3 - 5pm
Weekends: 10 - 12 am and 3-5pm
Inflatables between 3 - 4pm every day
The Hydrotherapy Pool and Signet Spa are for guests aged 16 and over.
