Flexible Cancellation

Credit Card required to guarantee your reservation. We are holding the reservation on a guaranteed basis. In case of cancellation please contact the hotel before 2.00pm local time 48 hours prior to the arrival date to avoid any cancellation or no show charges equivalent to the rate on the first night plus taxes.

Restaurant Cancellations

 

Credit cards are requested to confirm your booking in the restaurant (unless staying with us).  In the event you need to modify or cancel your booking please send an email to reception@retreatelcotpark.co.uk

In the event of a no-show or cancellation within 24 hours we reserve the right to charge £10 per person.

 

Dress Code

We do not have a strict dress code and are informal in style. When dining in our brasserie 1772 or Yu, many guests choose to dress up a bit, but we will leave that up to you. 

Smoking

The Retreat is a non-smoking hotel. Should you choose to smoke in your bedroom, we reserve the right to charge a cleaning surcharge upon or after your departure, which will be an additional nights room rate and further charges relating to the deep cleaning of the room may also be incurred.

Guest Personal Property

The Retreat accepts no liability for any damage to or any loss of guests' personal property. We have personal room safes in each bedroom and suite for residents.

Dogs

Well behaved Dogs are welcomed at The Retreat. We have a number of Dog Friendly rooms on the Ground Floor with outside terrace access. There is a £30 per night charge per Dog. A maximum of 2 Dogs per room. We provide a dog welcome pack on arrival. No dogs can be left in the room unattended.

You can dine with your dog in The Atlas Room or Orangery and enjoy the 1772 Brasserie menu.

We do not allow dogs in 1772 or Yu restaurants. Great walks for you and your dog from the front door of the hotel, both within our grounds and locally.

Babysitting

Unfortunately we are currently unable to provide babysitting services until further notice.

To guarantee your reservation:

We request Credit card information required at time of booking to guarantee your reservation at the hotel.

HOTEL POLICIES

On-arrival

When checking in we will ask for a Pre-authorisation amount of your first night’s Accommodation plus £100. This will be deducted from your bill on check-out or refunded if you have not exceeded the amount.

Check-in and Check-out

Our priority is to have your room ready from 4.00pm. Should you wish to join us earlier to use the spa or enjoy our facilities, we will be delighted to store your luggage with the porter until the time that your bedrooms become available.

You are kindly asked to vacate your room by 11.00am on your day of departure. If bedrooms are not vacated by 11.00am on the day of departure, a charge may be made by the hotel.

Please note that the hotel is all non-smoking.

Currency

We are a cashless business, so regrettably we are unable to change currency at the hotel directly.

Spa Treatments

Please inform us of any medical conditions or dietary requirements at time of booking.

Minimum age to enter the spa area is 18 (except our outdoor pool for members & hotel guests only).

Spa bookings require full payment at the time of booking.

We operate a 7 Day cancellation policy for Spa packages and Facility use and a 48-hour cancellation policy for treatments. Any Treatments or Spa Packages canceled within these time periods will be subject to payment in full.

Arrive 15 minutes prior to treatment time to complete a health questionnaire as late arrivals can result in reduced treatment time.

'Please note that we do not offer face or body treatments for expectant mothers who are less than 14 weeks pregnant. When over 14 weeks we are able offer a selected range of treatments.

Please advise us if you are pregnant, have any allergies, are currently under the supervision of your GP, have had any recent surgery or you have any other medical conditions that may affect your treatment.
