It does not get much better than holding or attending a special celebration at the Retreat. The countryside setting, the décor, the food and drink, and your friendly and experienced hosts make for a winning combination.

Whether it is a big birthday, the annual company retreat or your special day, we have it covered.

We have four fabulous private dining and event spaces at The Retreat.

St James's Library (up to 9)
Boasting a floor to ceiling Whisky collection, with ample light from its large bay window overlooking the sweeping drive, this room is the perfect space for 14 people (on one large table).

The Oyster Room (up to 14)
This gorgeous private dining room with floor to ceiling decorative Oyster plates and dual aspect windows with views over the croquet lawn and the North Wessex Downs. This is the perfect location for a private lunch or dinner.

The Portobello Room (up to 30)
Decorated in stunning De Gournay hand painted wallpaper, this private room is an exceptional space for corporate or private celebrations for up to 30 guests.

The Orangery (up to 80)
A bright and light filled space that makes use of the natural daylight flowing through the large windows. With views over the North Wessex Downs this room is the ideal space for celebration lunches and dinners for up to 80 people.
