Our sumptuous suites embody the history of The Retreat. Our signature playful textures and warm colours bring the suites to life, each one designed to evoke days gone by, with a modern twist, and each one oozing with laid-back luxury, with roll-top baths overlooking our gorgeous grounds and plenty of space to relax.

The Percy Shelley Suite is named after the famous Romantic poet, whose mother purchased Elcot Park in the early 19th century. His sisters lived here until 1874. With a separate living area, this suite is the ultimate way to enjoy everything The Retreat has to offer.

Around 1900, Elcot was purchased by Sir Richard Sutton, who lends his name to an indulgent suite, with a copper bath and spectacular views. The Sutton Suite is bright and airy by day and cosy and romantic in the evening.

Our trio of suites is completed with a nod to the Welsh industrialist who built Elcot House, Anthony Bushby Bacon. The perfect suite for families, the stunning Bushby Bacon Suite benefits from a separate children's room, with bright red bunk beds and a cuddly lion to take home. A four poster bed brings a touch of old world romance and fairytale magic to the suite.
